The Huawei B315s and E5172 both have external SMA antenna ports built in, so a signal-boosting antenna can be added later in a weak-signal area. The Jazz C061-100 and Zong 4G K12 do not have this port, so treat them as suited to areas with reasonably steady signal already.
The Jazz C061-100 has a removable 4000mAh battery rated for roughly 5 hours of backup after a power cut, the strongest option here for frequent loadshedding. The Zong 4G K12 has a smaller 2550mAh battery meant for a short gap rather than extended backup. The B315s and E5172 have no battery at all and stop working immediately if the power goes out.
The E5172 automatically falls back to 3G or 2G if 4G signal drops, useful in patchy coverage areas. The Zong 4G K12 can automatically fail over to a wired internet connection plugged into its WAN port if the SIM connection drops, useful as backup for an existing wired line rather than a replacement for one.
The B315s has 4 Ethernet ports plus a USB port and an RJ11 port for a landline-style phone over VoLTE. The E5172 supports up to 4 separate WiFi networks (multi-SSID) if you need to keep guest and household devices on separate networks.
