Zong has also commercially launched 5G in major Pakistani cities, so a 5G-capable device on a Zong SIM in a coverage area gets genuine 5G speeds, the same real advantage Jazz SIMs get.

We carry two devices sold under Zong's own branding: the Zong 4G Bolt+ (Huawei E5573 hardware, a pocket WiFi hotspot) and the Zong 4G K12 'Bolt Ultra' (ZTE hardware, a desktop router with WiFi 6 and automatic failover to a wired backup connection). Both are factory unlocked despite the Zong branding, and every other device in the catalog accepts a Zong SIM the same way.
Zong has live 5G coverage in major Pakistani cities as of 2026, alongside Jazz. A 5G-capable device, such as our Huawei N5368X outdoor CPE or Aurora C150 indoor router, gets genuine 5G speeds on a Zong SIM inside a coverage area. Outside that coverage, or on a 4G-only device, a Zong SIM still works fine, just on 4G LTE instead.
5G coverage is still limited to major cities and expanding, not nationwide yet. If you're outside a major city or unsure whether Zong 5G reaches your specific address, a 4G router or pocket WiFi is the safer starting point, since every 4G device here gets full LTE speeds regardless of the 5G rollout.
